Powell will not escape the judgment of history. He lied to the world. The words of lies came out of his mouth. He let himself be part of the most stupid presidency ever. He is part of that gang and so belongs in the gutters of history with all of the rest of them.

I don't know too much about the administrative workings in the white house... or how information is passed on... But obviously.. Colin Powell isn't a CIA director.. he's only brief based on information that is presented to him.. I feel that Powell isn't so much covering his ass... but he does feel that he has failed the American people by allowing the Iraq war to have happen... I still have respect for the guy.. and I hope Obama will use in wisely...

As Powell says, it is the president's job to see these things are investigated, and Obama has said he will take advice from Powell. We will see. (Unless McCain slides in, then the entire slimy thing will be buried)
