I was in the Vancouver aquarium a couple of days ago, so sad that there were no killer whales... =( but it is a gr8 aquarium, i really enjoyed it =)

I was lucky to see the orcas last performance at the Vancouver Aquarium. They certainly are beautiful creatures, but they belong in the wild.

it wasn't Vancouver - it was the Victoria aquarium - the male orca drowned a trainer there

yea, but the original reason was that the facilities weren't fit, and that somebody was killed earlier. to say the least, the vancouver aquarium is a dump, so it's certainly good that they are now only holding animals they can actually properly care for.

No, they just decided that it is not fit to remove an orca from its family just for our own entertainment. The Vancouver Aquarium is only taking hurt animals to rehabilitate them, thank god. We do not need another whale torture facility.

yea somethnig about the facilities. someone was also killed by an orca at the vancouver aquarium.

they use to have orcas in tha aquarim but now they don't :( |
